• Travel and Transportation
  St. Luke's patient representatives are available to coordinate travel plans for our patients and their family members. Through our special contract with Continental Airlines, we are able to book flights at discounted rates.
  
  When you arrive at Bush Intercontinental Airport, a Special Service Representative who speaks your language can meet you, guide you quickly through customs, and provide assistance through baggage claim.
  
  Courtesy transportation to and from the airport is available to all international patients.

  Round the Clock Assistance & Advocacy
  A patient representative is available 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week to assist you in navigating hospital policies and procedures. If you have any concerns, an international patient representative is on your side and ready to help.
  
  Pager Connection
  Families of patients in intensive care units (ICUs) can receive a pager so that family members will feel comfortable in any area of the hospital. If important information about the patient's condition changes, families will be contacted immediately.

  CarePages helps families create and update a free, private, and personalized web page to share the latest news with friends and family and receive messages of support in a non-intrusive way before, during, and after hospitalization.
  
  Community Services
  The Social Service staff provides counseling and guidance, help in handling a family crisis, and information about community resources.
  
  Pastoral Care
  St. Luke's chaplains (religious leaders) are available to people of all religions. Chaplains can also put you in touch with local leaders of your religion or denomination, including Episcopalian, Jewish, Muslim, Protestant, and Roman Catholic clergy.
