During April, we celebrate the generosity of organ donors and families who have made the decision to give the gift of life. There are currently more than 117,000 people across America waiting for a life-saving transplant and more than 11,000 are Texans. We all have the power to save lives.
St. Luke’s Cooley Transplant Center® will host its Gift of Life Service on April 11 at 9:30 a.m. to recognize the generosity of organ and tissue donors and their families and a special prayer for those who have donated, received or are awaiting a life-saving transplant.
In honor of National Donate Life Month, St. Luke’s Cooley Transplant Center® will have a table on the Skybridge between St. Luke’s and The O’Quinn Towers during this month for more information about organ donation and the power of transplantation.
