St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital Physicians Named To Super Doctors® 2012 List
John A. Goss, Jr., MD, associate chief, transplant service at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital (SLEH) and Jacqueline A. Lappin, MD, have been named to the Super Doctors® list for the transplant specialty, which was recently published in a special advertising section in Texas Monthly. Only five percent of the doctors in Houston are named by Super Doctors, and Dr. Goss made the list for the seventh consecutive year.
“We congratulate Dr. Goss and Dr. Lappin on this well-deserved honor and the vital contributions they make to transplant patients at the St. Luke’s Cooley Transplant Center,” said O.H. Frazier, MD, FACS, FACC, chief, transplant services. “These dedicated, physician-leaders are committed to developing new approaches to treat patients with organ failure and to enhancing quality of life.”
The selections for this esteemed list are made by the research team at Super Doctors, which is a service of Key Professional Media, Inc. Each year, the research team at Super Doctors undertakes a rigorous multi-phase selection process that includes a survey of doctors, independent evaluation of candidates by the research staff, a peer review of candidates by practice area, and a good-standing and disciplinary check.
